Our Nutcracker Ballerina

Christy standing in front of the big Christmas tree at the Bass Hall.

I was so excited to go the ballet. I was ready one hour early! It is always so much fun!

We took these girls from Christy's Young Women's class. The girls in red joined the church about one month ago. They are awesome. The girl in black comes to church by herself. It was a treat to take them to the Bass Hall to see Christy.

All the people from the ward who went got in line to have Christy sign her autograph. These two girls were standing by the door and asked her to sign also. It was cute.

Here is Christy just after her performance on Dec.19th. She was a rat again, but she had an important part. She had to help carry the dead Mouse King off the stage. She was also a cook who greets Clara into the Sugarland. She appeared to enjoy herself on stage. This is her fourth and last year to be in the Nutcracker. We are proud of her.

Way to go Christy -- I'm proud to have a famous balarina for a sister. Congratulations on another successful Nutcracker.

I'm so sad I missed the Nutcracker again. You look gorgeous. Maybe you can reenact the dead rat scene for your talent.

I love the Nutcracker. That's so awesome that you got to be in it for so many years, what a memory. You do look gorgeous. We can't wait to see y'all at Christmas! Just a few more days....
