Pre-Christmas 2008 / Fun with Jackson

Here's my kids and the gingerbread village, with the stockings, poinsettias and fireplace. Not seen are the reindeer, angels, candycanes, Polar Express Train and letters to Santa. Christmas in Second Grade is a big deal and we keep busy from Thanksgiving to the day we get out. This year I have an especially nice class. I enjoy teaching them.

Fun with Jackson before we left for Utah.

Jackson making a Christmas Pretzel.

Santa and the Longhorns!

On Sunday night before we left for Utah we all got in the van and went looking
at the Christmas lights around the area.

Pre-Christmas at Jackson's house. He got Candyland, a bubblegum machine, a bunch of fun stuff from Grandma, Grandpa and Christy. He got so excited with each present.

Jackson and I went to a Christmas Play in Weatherford for fun. I also attended some concerts at other churches. One program had a big choir and full orchestra, but they sang untraditional songs, the other one was at a big Baptist church that was like a Vegas production. It makes you grateful for the Tabernacle Choir!
