Modern Art

I love this piece. It is made by an artist who knows wood and shaped each piece to connect so it looks like one long piece reaching through the ceiling. As the piece grows upward the pieces get smaller. Dad and I always enjoy our visits to the Modern Art Museumn. This was Christy's first visit. She liked some things, others were too weird for her. However, now she tells me she thinks she likes opera.

This is a sculpture outside the Modern Art Museumn in Ft. Worth, but it used to stand in New York City. We went to the museumn on springbreak because it was free Wednesday. We saw lots of cool stuff, but one crazy display was 350 pounds of green candy wrapped up and then laid out on the floor. It was called, "The Green Candy River." They let us eat a piece of the river, which then made the whole piece change! We ate the art!
