Here she is! Happy for a terrific performance and happy that 6 days per week dance classes is over(for awhile at least). Christy dances were wonderful. She was in a group dancing a portion from Coppelia, the ballet. That was done on her pointe shoes. It was lovely to watch. Christy said it was very hard to do. Our favorite dance was the modern dance. She wore this flowing teal blue dress and danced with great emotion. The dancers were moving all over the stage, like water moving I guess. Very cool! Her jazz dance was fast and furious. The music was by Queen, Headlong. They were "headstrong" and doing all kinds of things with their arms and legs non-stop. It was the show stopper!

Grandpa asked Jackson if he liked the car races or the dance show better. "I like them both," they are both good." Jared told us Jackson liked to watch the girls dance, but not the boys.

Dad gives a "proud of you hug." He was good at identifying her, each time she came on the stage. Of course he was quiet about it, but I could tell he loved watching her dance and he was a proud Papa.

Mom's job of getting Christy to and from dance has been over for awhile. The part of watching her grow and mature as a dancer all these years has been fun. Especially enjoyable is handing her the bouquet of flowers and expressing how proud we are of her after the performance. She has done a great job of fulfilling my own dreams of being a dancer. I only lasted a few weeks when I was about 7. She has put about 12 years of toil and sweat. What tremendous accomplishment. Thanks alot Christy! We are so proud of you. We look forward to what your future brings.
