Jackson and Colin came over for "Time with Grandma." We painted these suncatchers.
We blew bubbles...
played outside

made sprinkle cookies and also made some cards for Father's Day.

Ethan and Shelby came to visit us too this summer. Here they're having ice cream sundaes.

Nathan got out all the old wheels from the shed. Nothing works of course. He wants to get the go-cart, three wheeler and scooter up and running again. He even got the dirt bike out, but Nicole and I shuddered.

Nathan pushed the boys around the backyard and they were thrilled.

Two little cousins. They are so different, yet you can see the connection. Dark eyes!

Jackson wanted to check out Ethan's heart. "How is your heart feeling?", he asked. Good question for us all.

We took a trip to the nature center. These two really liked the alligator.
Ethan liked Grandpa's bike. Nathan got on and did perfect, even did a smooth turn around.
Here's a great sight: Christy in the kitchen fixing eggs for everyone. She is such a busy girl with summer school and her job. She says she likes being home for a while. We like all the help she's been. She even remodled her bathroom. I need to take a picture of that.
We're so glad to have Nathan, Nicole, Ethan, Shelby and Linkin close enough to vist us. We had a great time when they came and stayed over at Grandpa's and Grandma's. Come again soon!
Do you all know how funny Colin is? He is this little tornado that gets into everything!
Christy had Jackson and Colin over to make cookies together. This was before she started school which is everyday and 3-4 hours of homework too.
On Memorial Day, Dad and I drove to the military cementary in Dallas. We walked around some and read the headstones. We wanted to do something to show respect for all the soldiers, all those who have served their country and helped make our lives better. For us it was better than a picnic or a BBQ, but you know we're different.

So summer is passing too quickly. Dad has been going to his school everyday writing new lessons for next year. Mom stays home alot and enjoys the quiet. I still go walking, but it gets hot early.
Hope everyone else is having a good summer too.
