So Jared and Jamie decided to build a new table for our Thanksgiving Dinner. This is how it looked the day before Thanksgiving.

This is how it looked after our meal. Notice Jamies' cute Mayflower. She had us all write on a card what we were thankful for. Then she put the cards in the Mayflower boat. Everyone got to pick one and read what it said. Lots of good answers like, family, Gospel, jobs and good food.

This is the thankful bunch sitting at the terrific new table.

What a beautiful site. Thanks Jared, Jamie and Nathan for making the table. Thanks Jamie and Nicole for all the crafts you did with the kids to make things so special.

Heidi was the roll maker. She also made delicious baked yams with rosemary and a super good dressing with Granny Smith apples.

Dad made mashed potatoes that didn't even taste like potatoes. It was a new food, so creamy and yummy. He also smoked a turkey, soaked a turkey and rosted it and also made the gravy.
Jamie also made a turkey that was injected with savory herbs. It was also delicious.

Heidi is sipping her "Shirley Temple." Nathan and Nicole brought the ingredients for them. They were so fun to drink.

Colin liked the pumpkin pie his mom made.

One of the turkeys. Jared also smoked a ham. We were really feasting it up.

Christy made three berry pies. She made the pie dough and everything. Good Job Christy.

Sorry for snapping this picture Nicole when you weren't ready. I was just so excited about the beautiful pumpkin cheesecake. It was the best cheesecake ever. Nathan made greenbean casserole and a relish tray. Mom made fruit salad , hominy/cactus casserole, and sun dried tomato humus.

This is a picture of Christy in her well earned new t-shirt. She ran the 10K Turkey Trot in Ft. Worth with Heidi on Thanksgiving morning. It was cold and rainy, but they both finished the race. We are proud of you!
