Wonder World in San Marcos

Getting ready for our trip underground.

Colin liked his miner hat.

Lane needs a hat of some kind.

Here is Rachel desending into the Wonder World Cave.

We learned that this cave was formed from an earthquake, which does make it a unique cave. I ttook this picture of "the mitten," which protrudes outward. Just across the opening there is a hole that fits this piece of rock exactly. I thought this was cool.

Deep inside the cave. This part of the group were being attentive to the tour guide, I think.

Jackson and Christy climbing in the cave.

There were lots of examples of layering of rock and also evidence of sea life in the rock.

Good listeners and one boy with a blankie.

We had fun inside the cave. There was a part when the guide turned off all the lights and it was pitch dark. It was a fun cave to visit together.

Jared on the throne just before leaving the cave.

The Anti-Gravity Room was lots of fun.

Why does Dad look so normal? No one else could stand up straight.

To prove you are strong, you try to stand from a sitting position. The big kids tried.

and the little kids tried.

Watching the water flow up hill.

Jackson was facinated with this water project.

Here we are on the top of the tower. We had a great view of the hill country.

Two buddies!! So glad to have Racel, Joshua and Dallin in Texas.

Next, we hopped on the Wonder World Train.

Waiting for the train ride while others were buying there food to feed the animals.

Into the magic waterfall we go!

Feeding the baby deer.

Watching for the hungriest participant.

Lots of food for lots of deer.

So cute.

We had a great time at Wonder World. So glad we could spend the day together.
