Home made ice cream


With this kind of ice cream maker, you keep the bowl in the freezer. When you're ready to make ice cream, you put the frozen bowl in and put in your makin's. No ice, salt, etc. is used.

We like this recipe to make a low calorie frozen yogurt:

3 cups Dannon plain low fat yogurt.
1/3 cup sugar
about a cup of fruit, in this case mangos
a little jam or preserves. In this case mango jam
about 1/2 cup chopped nuts.

Churn for 25 minutes.




Yum yum, and it's good for you.
