June 9, 2009 Christy poses outside the Convention Center after graduation is accomplished.

To begin with, Christy led the 381 graduates into the Convention Hall.

Here she is #1 and all decked out, new dress, new shoe, new nails, blue collar for National Honor Society, Medal for Texas Scholar (Taks), Gold Cord the Top Ten Percent, Purple

Adam was our paratizy from California, there to get the story on Christy. Joshua made it through the whole, long evening.

Colin, Jackson and Rachel had fun sitting in the stands for the long program.

Heidi and Uncle Brian sat behind us. Brian shared his 200 pictures of cars with Heidi.

Here's Adam, Thomalee, Rachel and Joshua. We're so glad they made it!

Here is Christy after walking the stage, hearing her middle name pronounced wrong, receiving her diploma, greeting her teachers, returning to her seat to watch the others graduate, turning her tassle, throwing her hat and sharing moments with her fellow graduates. (See the video )

We took this picture as she walked by, graduation accomplished!

She is proud here and hungry for her future I guess. We did take her out afterwards.

Chrsity and her friend Sarah Barnes. They've been good friends since First Grade. They are going to UT together.
