Just a picture to prove I went in the Gulf of Mexico. It was fun. The waves were crashing all around me, but the water wasn't cold at all.

We went on a Duck Tour. These are boats left over from the first two World Wars. They can go on land and water. It was fun to do both on our tour. We rode the Miss Michelle and we thought about her and we missed our Michelle.

Brown Pelicans we could see from our boat. They are huge birds and they look like tiny airplanes in the sky.

A neat looking building from the 1920's. It has survived all the hurricanes.

A cool art-deco on the outside of a building.

A shot of one of the cruise ships in the harbor.
We left Galveston and drove through Houston.

In front of the Houston Temple. No one was around to take a picture of us both.

The front of the Houston Temple. It is so beautiful. We walked all around the grounds and saw flowering trees and lots of flowers and Texas plants. Christy says this is where she wants to get married.

This is the only picture of us together from our whole vacation. Dad held out the camera and took the picture. I love the Magnolia tree and the temple windows in the background. Happy 40th to us!
