Camping in Utah

Camping in Mapleton was the destination. We enjoyed meeting with Nathan, Ethan, Christy,Heidi. We did have some adventures before we got there.

Dad decided to take us (me and the van) on this three foot road that passed through the top of a mountain. We would have done better on horseback.

However, the views were wonderful and we never would have seen this without being willing to veer off the highway.

This was a 40 mile detour that took us from Spanish Fork canyon to Mapleton campground.

Earlier in the morning we had taken a trip through Teasdale and took a picture of Grandpa Jackson's house.

These are the red rocks that face Teasdale. Too bad the rocks are the best part of Teasdale. We pretty well decided we didn't want to live there.

Here I am in Singletree Campground. This is Dad's and my favorite place, but this time too many other people were there in our campground. We couldn't believe it!

I decided to pick out a tree and say, this must be the tree that made them name the campground Singletree. But there were hundreds of others.

Dad at Singletree.

Taking a ride on my sister's ATV. They all camp on the beach of this lake near St. George and then take their boats out on the lake and their ATV up on the hills.

Glad you got to stop in at single tree and teasdale. Too bad everyone else has fallen in love with those places as well.
