The sisters loved Christy and liked telling her how beautiful and thin she was. Christy 18. When I met the Abraham family Shannon was 11. I've loved these sisters all my married life.

I enjoyed walking around the temple. It is so white! My sister Debbie goes to this temple once a week. People were so kind and helpful. It was a wonderful experience for Dad and I to go through with Shannon, his youngest sister. Shannon was newly married when Grandma Abraham died. She first got cancer when Shannon was about 12. Ila prayed that she could live to see Shannon married. Grandpa Abraham died about 3 years later. Shannon was close to both of them as she had been the one left at home when the others had grown and moved out. Shannon missed seeing the wedding of her first son. Her second son, got married the day after she went through the temple. We were all happy for her.
