SO..This is what the web looked like when the family walked in the door. After all the work of putting it up, I was looking for the look of surprise when each member came in the door.

Christy

Nathan, Shelby, Ethan

Nicole

Jamie

Jared

Nathan begins the fun and games!

Each person's name began in the center of the web and wound in and out of each others and under furniture or on top of cupboards or under beds, even down the hall or over the wall. It was hilarious to watch the tangling and untangling.

Jared on the move.

Nicole climbing the ladder just to find her name. Each name was attached to a long, long line of ribbon which finally ended at the precious gift.

Dad's ribbon led him under his chair, so he had an easy time. His precious gift was a book of Christmas Stories published in 1973 by Desert Book. I found this at Thrift Town.

Nathan found his gift and loved his made to look real snake.

Nicole found her present.

Jamie found her "precious gift" from Thrift Town.

Winding ribbon to find his "precious gift." We won't talk about it here.

Christy pulling her ribbon from under the chair.

Jackson and his pile of ribbon. He had a great time

Ethan with his treasure. I found this brand new book at Thrift Town too.

Shelby found her pretty snake.

Colin found his gift in the kitchen.

Lane did a good job finding his gift.

Little Linkin with his soft green reindeer.

SO.. did the web live up to it's description of a fun parlor game? to me YES! I loved putting it up, I loved watching as each person entered the house. I love hearing the laughing and sighing as each one went on their quest for their gifts. I loved how happy they were with their gifts from Thrift Town. I had spent a total of $40 on Christmas plus what I spent on ribbon. It was a ton of fun. Will we ever do it again? Come home some Christmas and see.
