We Stayed at The Gaylord!

Dad, Mom, Christy and Heidi stayed at the Gaylord Hotel on Thanksgving Day and night. This was a fun retreat
Everything was decorated for Christmas and we had to jump in the sleigh for a photo.

Nathan, Nicole and kids came by on Thanksgiving night and we did a tour of the grounds. Here's little Linkin and Aunt Christy.

We made hot chocolate in the coffee maker.

It was fun to have them come and visit. They brought us some water and snacks, since it was so expensive to buy anything there. Thanks, guys.

These two little ones took a sample of the Gingerbread House.

Christy by the Longhorn. Hook 'em girl.

Shelby and I enjoyed all the lights and decorations.

Cute girls!

Enjoying the time together. Dad was in the room watching the Cowboy's football game.

We had two rooms with a dividing door. Christy was trying out my bed.

Heidi brought her ipad and Ethan loved playing the games she had.

Everyone got into the ipad thing.

Relaxing! "Take my picture," I'm not sure I'll ever get to go back, but I enjoyed the fanciness.
Thanks Dad for letting us stay at the Gaylord.

So at this fancy hotel, you have to put on a robe and tramp all through the place to find the hidden swimming pool, which is in a corner somewhere. Here is Dad in his robe, lost.

We ran into a maintance guy, and he escorted us to the opposite side of the hotel. You have to pass through an outdoor resturant just to enter the swimming area. Crazy, but we made it and we did got swimming. I was proud of Dad and I, it was way out of our comfort zone.

Catching our ride home. I think we pulled it off pretty good. We got excellent rooms, we enjoyed our outing just after weeks of hectic school. We rested, we played games, we enjoyed all the pretty decorations. It was expensive and they charged parking and a resort fee. I'm glad to say I got to stay there. We're not sure we would stay again, maybe-try asking please.

That was great! I think we all look good living the Gaylord life. Especially Dad in his robe :)
